Effects of Silbieum and Lieum Jeon on Rats with Acute Renal Failure induced by Gentamicin Sulfate

Abstract
|
|
|
This paper is to investigate what effects Silbieum and Lieumjeon have on rats with acute renal failure induced by gentamicin sulfate.
So this experimintal research is focused on measuring ① the concentrations of creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, uric acid, sodium, potassium, chloride, aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase in serum, ② the concentration of
creatinine,
sodium, potassium and chloride in urine and ③ intake water, urine volume, urine gravity and glomerular filtration rate.
@ES The results are summarized as follows;
@EN 1) As to Silbieum, the increase of the concentrations of creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, uric acid and alanine aminotransferase in serum was significantly inhibited and the decrease of the glomerular filtration rate and urine volume was
significantly inhibited.
2) As to Lieumjeon, there was the tendency of glomerular and tubular function improved but the significance of measuring in every test was not accepted.
According to the above results, it is shown that by Silbieum ① the glomerular filtration rate is increased and ② tubulr function is partially improved. So it is concluded that Silbieum may be conducive to the treatment of acute renal failure.
